My name is Jason R. Thrift and am the author of this novel The Civilization Loop.  It is a story I have pondered for years and felt might be entertaining to a great multitude of people.  I've always wondering where our civilization originally came from.  Was it from true ancient human beings that simply developed the necessary skills and social prowess to develop into the civilization we know today?  Could it have been aliens or some super advanced humanoid race that existed millions of years ago and left our lasting legacy as the civilization we are now behind to flourish?  Or, could it possibly have been started out of necessity?  Could humanity have created the means to travel back in time and inadvertently cause the need for civilization to start again in the past?  Many myths are entertwined in this tale.  From Stonehenge, to crop circles, to Atlantis, to Area 51, to the great pyramids and sphinx of giza to the Roswell incident, all the myths are brought together in a tale that I believe will have you scratching your head and wondering, is this how it all might have begun?
